Giving Back and Speaking Up!

Giving Back: Catalytic Management has had the good fortune to continue to grow and to work with wonderful clients who believe in excellence. We are privileged to be their catalyst for change. We would like to become a catalyst for good beyond our business relationships and therefore, beginning in 2007, Catalytic Management will set aside 1.5% of net profit to support nonprofit organizations that focus on providing education and financial support that lead to independence. In 2007, we will support Community Work Services in Boston which has a local focus and World Education which delivers services both locally and internationally. Visit their web sites for more information on each group.

Speaking Engagements: We are pleased to announce that Shelley Hall, Principal and Managing Director of Catalytic Management will be speaking at several organizations over the next few months. She will be a panel speaker for The Boston Club on "The Power of Branding. How to Turn Employees & Customers into Evangelists for Your Products and Services" on January 25th. Beginning in February and continuing through May, Shelley will speak at The Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce, The Wellesley Chamber of Commerce, the eWomenNetwork, and the Senior Executive Networking Group of NE. For dates, times and topic, visit "Speaking Engagements" on our web site.

Articles: Two of Shelley's recent articles were released in January. Her article "Turn To Your Customers to Solve Customer Churn" was published in the prestigious Business Strategy Series 2007, volume 8, no.2, an executive resource formerly called The Handbook of Business Strategy. In addition her article for the Society of Actuaries titled "Are You Dependent on Just a Few Clients? If So, a 50/30 Alarm System Can Help" was published in The Independent, a society on-line publication for entrepreneurial actuaries. The American Management Association will also publish two of Shelley's articles later in the year.

We help executives in small to medium sized businesses rejuvenate, reinvent and reenergize their companies through consulting, training and coaching in sales performance, customer relationship management and process improvement.
